Virtus Solutions, a consulting firm specializing in marketing, government relations and political campaign management, has opened a new office inside the Carroll Building in downtown Troy. The firm’s owner, Angi Horn Stalnaker, is a Troy native and is excited about relocating her office to Pike County.
“We are fortunate to have clients all over the state but after spending a great deal of time in Pike County during the Mayor’s race and the County Commission campaign, it became clear to me that we should relocate our office back to Troy,” Horn Stalnaker said. “My staff fell in love with this area and are as excited about being here as I am.”
Horn Stalnaker said that is what led to the launch of the #RankTroy campaign last fall to help promote the Troy University football team. #RankTroy was featured on CBS, ESPN and Fox Sports South and received more than 500,000 social media views in under a month.
“We have run a lot of campaigns over the years but the #RankTroy campaign will always be one of my favorites,” she said. “Nobody hired us to do that campaign. We did it because of our love for the University and for this town. It was truly a fan based movement.”
In addition to lobbying and consulting on high profile campaigns across Alabama ranging from United States Senator to Mayoral races, Virtus Solutions also provides marketing services to a variety of private sector clients.
“There is no doubt that we are best known for our political work,” Horn Stalnaker acknowledged, “but we are just as proud of the marketing services we provide to our non-political clients. We have been able to elevate the businesses of many of our private sector clients through our traditional and digital marketing programs.”
Virtus Solutions received national attention last year when their work was nominated for seven Reed Awards in recognition for their marketing and campaign work. Commercials produced for Pike County Commissioner Chad Copeland and Montgomery County Commissioner Doug Singleton were nominated. The firm was also nominated for “Best New Firm” in consideration of the total body of work performed in 2016 which included campaigns for non-political clients, #Rank Troy, Mayors, Judges, District Attorneys, and a United States Senator.
Angi Horn Stalnaker is a 1994 graduate of Charles Henderson High School and a 1998 graduate of the University of Alabama.
