Mr. and Mrs. Lester Reaves and Brenda Brown, of Greenville, announce the engagement of their daughter, April Victoria to Regal Hamm, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Regal Hamm, Sr., of Troy.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Reaves and the late Mrs. Shirley Dobbs, all of Greenville. She is a 1998 graduate of Luverne High School and attended Troy University. She is employed with CVS Pharmacy in Troy.

The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Neal Jackson and the late Mr. Nelson Hamm and Mrs. Nannette Williams and the late Mr. Lloyd Williams, all of Troy. Regal is a 1992 graduate of Pike Liberal Arts School and is presently employed with the South Alabama Electric Cooperative.

The wedding is planned for Sept. 6, 2014 at Spring Hill Baptist Church in Troy.
