Mr. and Mrs. Robert David Rhodes announce the engagement of their daughter, Christy Leigh Rhodes, to William Ernest Hollingsworth IV, son of Judge and Mrs. William Ernest Hollingsworth III of Talladega.

The bride elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Byron Park of Brundidge, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold Nelson Rhodes of Troy.

Miss Rhodes is a graduate of Charles Henderson High School and Troy University with a bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a Masters in Advanced Nursing with an emphasis as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She was a Troy University cheerleader and a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority. She is currently employed at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital Emergency Department in Anniston, Alabama.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. William Ernest Hollingsworth Jr. and the late Mr. Hollingsworth of Talladega, and Mr. Earl Johnson Roberts and the late Mrs. Roberts.

Mr. Hollingsworth is a graduate of The Donoho School and The University of Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in Finance, and earned his Juris Doctorate from Jones School of Law. He was a member of Kappa Alpha Fraternity and is a self-employed attorney at William E. Hollingsworth, IV Attorney at Law in Talladega, Alabama.

The couple is having an intimate family wedding on May 18, 2013 at Sorrell Chapel in Troy. The couple will reside in Oxford, Alabama.
