Charles and Michelle Johnson would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Felisha Shabaka Johnson, to Jhaun Pierre Nathaniel Reid of Birmingham.

Jhaun is the son of Genise and Rudolph Reid of Birmingham.

Felisha and Jhaun met on the grounds of Troy University, where they both obtained their bachelors degrees.

In May 2011, Felisha was awarded her masters of science degree in elementary education at the University of West Alabama.  Jhaun earned his masters in business administration from Troy University.

The ceremony has been set for June 16, 2012, at the Harbert Center in Birmingham.
