Gandy-Sessions

Durwood and Melanie Sessions of Troy announce e engagement of their daughter, Brooke Sessions, to Malachi Gandy, son of Bill and Pam Gandy of Calera.

Brooke is a graduate of Charles Henderson High School in Troy (2008), and is attending Auburn University in Auburn (mechanical engineering). She is the granddaughter of Dr. Joe Maddox of Troy, Alabama and Jerrie Morrow of Jack, Sybil Sessions of Troy, and the late Murrel Sessions.

The groom is a graduate of Thompson High School in Alabaster (2005) and a graduate of Auburn University in Auburn (2011 forestry).

He is employed by Sumter Timber in Demopolis. He is the grandson of Jean Conaway of Odessa, Texas, and the late Louis Conaway and Lillian Gandy of Fort Worth, Texas.

The wedding will be December 23, 2011, at 6 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church, County Road 15, Union Springs. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of the church. Family and friends are invited.
