“There is no deadline for signing up for the expo, but available spaces have been going quickly,” Barner said.

“This is a great way for businesses to showcase their products and services.”

The booths will showcase a number of the products and services that Pike County has to offer, including, food, home products, clothing and general services provided throughout the county.

Barner said that Pike County has held the annual expo for 11 years, and businesses benefit from the exposure.

“This is an annual event, and it’s our 11th year to have the expo,” Barner said.

“It’s a great opportunity for people to come and enjoy the food and to learn more about local businesses,” Barner said.

“The businesses are always happy with the turnout and with the exposure they receive from it. We usually have about 1,000 people in attendance.”

Advance tickets for “Taste of Pike County” can be purchased for $5 at the Chamber office, Army Aviation Federal Credit Union, both Regions bank branches, Troy Bank and Trust on 231, The Messenger and Troy Cable.

Tickets can also be purchased at the door, the night of the event for $8.

The doors open at 6 p.m. and the expo will end at 9 p.m.

The funds from the event will benefit chamber programs.
