Goshen boys soar at home

Two aggressive and determined teams took to the court Tuesday as the Goshen Eagles boy’s basketball team hosted the Highland Home Flying Squadron.

Both teams came out ready to play leaving no score unanswered. Following the first quarter, the Eagles led the Flying Squadron by just two points, and the score continued to edge higher and higher with small differences between either team.

The head coach for the Eagles said the team had done well to cover their men during Monday’s contest.

And with this being the boys basketball team’s first showing at home, the head coach was more than pleased with the performance.

The Eagles astounding ability to maintain control of rebounded basketballs proved crucial for the team moving through the game against the Flying Squadron, and the head coach said the team had played well in their victory.

The Eagles host Providence Christian Thursday.
