The Pike Liberal Arts Patriots fell to number one seed Southern Academy on Wednesday afternoon in the AISA Elite 8 Tournament in Montgomery.

The Patriots fell to Southern Academy 25-15, 27-25, 25-14.

Allie Rushing finished with seven assists, while Mikalah Griffin had eight kills and four blocks. Grace Rushing finished with two kills and four blocks, while Kaylee Copeland had 15 digs.

On Wednesday it was announced that Grace Rushing was named an AISA All-Star and will play in the game this Saturday at Macon-East.
