Eagles fall to Beulah

The Goshen Eagles went into halftime trailing by just eight at 15-7, but were outscored 21-6 in the second half in their 42-13 loss to Beulah on Friday night.
The loss drops the Eagles to 0-8 overall on the season.
It was a battle of winless teams on Friday night. The win for Beulah brings them to 1-7 overall and 1-5 in region play.
Trailing 15-0 in the second quarter, the Eagles jumped on the scoreboard on a 73-yard completion by Will Snyder to Isserick McKinney. They scored their final touchdown in the third quarter when Snyder ran the ball for a seven-yard touchdown.
Snyder finished the game completing 10 of his 14 passes for 185 yards and had one touchdown pass. He was also the team’s leading rusher with 28 points, while Jeff Warrick had 12 yards.
Warrick finished with five catches for 69 yards, while McKinney had two catches for 86 yards.
The Eagles will be back in action next Friday when they take on Catholic Montgomery.
