The Goshen Eagles travel to take on winless Beulah
The Goshen Eagles travel to Beulah to take on the winless Bobcats on Friday evening.
It’s been a season of struggles on and off the field for the Eagles and Bobcats in 2020. Both teams have struggled on the field, while the Beulah Bobcats struggled with positive cases of COVID-19 in the offseason.
Both teams come into the game 0-7 on the season. The Eagles have been forced to forfeit two games due to being only allowed to play region games in 2020, while Beulah was forced to forfeit their first three games.
The Eagles fell to Pike County 48-0 last Friday night and have been shutout in their last two official games.
The Bobcats have allowed 45 points per game, while their offense has scored just 10 points this season. The Bobcats fell to Reeltown 47-13 last Friday night.
Unofficially, this is the first meeting between the two schools since 1991. The Eagles got the better of Beulah in that contest 24-7.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
