Friday’s scheduled game between Houston County and Zion Chapel in Enterprise has been postponed until Saturday afternoon.
The game between the Rebels and the Lions was originally scheduled for 7 p.m. at Bates Memorial Stadium in Enterprise, but due to the effects of Hurricane Sally, Zion Chapel elected to push the start of the game until Saturday beginning at 3 p.m.
Zion Chapel announced on Thursday that school would be canceled on Friday after already being closed on Wednesday and Thursday.
The game between the Rebels and the Lions will feature two teams looking for their first win of the season. The Rebels fell to Elba last week 38-7 to fall to 0-3, while the Lions fell to G.W. Long to fall to 0-4 on the year.
The two teams last met in 2017 when the Lions got the better of the Rebels 44-0.
