The Square in Downtown Troy played host to the Stop The Violence Candlelight Vigil on Friday night. The vigil was organized by Ebony Williams, who said her goal was to bring awareness to the individuals who have lost their lives to violence and to send the message that violence will not be tolerated in this community.
Dozens of people showed up to honor loved ones who were affected by violence. Following testimonies people in attendance held up candles.
