Goshen got a big 3-pointer from Jeff Warrick and the Eagles knocked off Zion Chapel 58-51 on Tuesday night in Jack.

The win for the Eagles keeps them undefeated in area play at 2-0. They are a half game in front of Zion Chapel and 2-1 in the Class 2A Area 4 standings.

Dee Maddox led the way with 23 points, while Deshawne Brown had 14 points. Makel Avery finished with 10 points.

It was the second area win in a row for the Eagles. They knocked off Samson on the road last Friday night. In Samson, the Eagles were led in scoring by Maddoux, who scored 20 points. Avery finished with 14 points and Warrick scored nine. JaKamron Rumph finished with seven points.

The Eagles will take on New Brockton on their road in their third area game of the season on Thursday evening.
