CHHS wrestling finishes 2-1 in Elmore County Tri-match

The Charles Henderson Trojans continued their wrestling season on Tuesday evening. The Trojans competed in a tri-match in Elmore County and came out with a 2-1 record.

The Trojans took on Beulah, Holtville and Elmore County. The Trojans started the night with a loss to Elmore County 66-18. They finished the evening with wins over Beulah 48-30 and Holtville 60-18.

Individually, Ramsey Tipp, who went 3-0 on the day, led the Trojans with three pins. Dorian Shipman went 3-0 with two pins.

Against Beulah, the Trojans had four wins via pin by Nick Slobodchikoff, Tipp, Damien Hart and Shipman. Hayden Adamson, Brayden Knowling, Tyler Cooper and Priest Ginyard all won via forfeit.

In their second match against Holtville, The Trojans had two wins by pin by Jackson West and Tipp. Knowling, Cooper, Kacey Morgan, Jackson West, Nick Simmons, Shipman, Donquavious Toney and Allen Brooks all won via the forfeit.

In Charles Henderson’s lone loss to host Elmore County, the Trojans had wins via the pin by Cooper and Tipp.

The Trojans will have plenty of meets on the horizon in the next couple of weeks. The Trojans will be back in action on Tuesday, January 14 when they travel to take on Reeltown. They will return home next Thursday, January 16 when they host a tri-match against Reeltown and TR Miller beginning at 5:30 p.m. It marks Charles Henderson’s second tri-match of the season.
