Eagles knock off Highland Home

The Goshen Eagles knocked off visiting Highland Home 50-37 on Thursday night in Goshen.
The Eagles outscored the Flying Squadron in all four quarters on Thursday. They went into the break at halftime leading 25-15. The Eagles outscored the Squadron 25-22 in the second half to preserve the win.
Dee Maddoux led the way with 14 points, while DeShawne Brown finished with 13. Stephen Meeks finished the game with nine points.
The Eagles will be back in action on Monday evening when they host rival Luverne.
Charles Henderson 29 Auburn 48
The Trojans kept things close with Auburn. They led 19-17 heading into the locker room for half time. Auburn came out in the second half and outscored the Trojans 31-10 in the second half.
The Trojans had eight players score in double figures led by Devin Parker who finished with eight points. Keith Wheeler finished with six points, while Zach Henderson had four.
The Trojans will be back in action on Friday night when they host Andalusia.
The Pike Liberal Arts Patriots fell on the road against Lee-Scott. The Patriots will be back in action on Monday when they host Abbeville Christian in their home opener on Monday evening.
