A strong second half help lift the Autauga Academy Generals to a 62-42 win over the Pike Liberal Arts Patriots on Tuesday night in Prattville.

The Patriots trailed 25-24 heading into the locker room at halftime, but were then outscored The Trojans were outscored 37-18 in the second half.

Austin Cross led the Patriots with 17 points, while Drew Nelson finished with 11 points and Javon Christian had five.

The Patriots will be back in action on Thursday when they travel to Auburn to take on Lee-Scott. They will host their home opener on Monday against Abbeville Christian.
