Goshen falls to Brantley

The Goshen Eagles fell to Brantley 47-14 in the regular season finale on Friday night in Goshen.

The loss dropped the Eagles to 7-2 overall as they get set to host a first round playoff game next Friday night.

The Bulldogs scored 14 points in both the first and second quarter and went into halftime leading 28-0.

The Bulldogs scored both of their touchdowns in the third quarter. Quarterback Bryan Galloway connected with RaQuan Martin on an 81-yard touchdown. Later in the quarter, Galloway scampered in for a 5-yard touchdown.

Galloway finished the game completing nine of his 15 passes for 141 yards. Galloway also led the team in rushing with 99 yards on 15 carries. He added one touchdown. Martin finished the game with five receptions for 115 yards and a touchdown, while Tamarcus Shipmon and Dee Maddox each had 11 yards receiving.

The Eagles will open up the postseason next Friday night when they host Thorsby in round one at Eagles stadium.
