The Charles Henderson Trojans close out the regular season on Friday evening on the road against Baldwin County High School.

The Trojans hope to finish the season with a winning record. They enter the final game of the season with a 4-4 record.

The Trojans went into last week’s game against Valley one win away from a region championship. Instead, a 40-21 loss to the Rams dropped the Trojans down to fourth place, forcing them to go on the road to play Faith Academy.

This week the Trojans will take on a Tigers team from Class 6A Region 1. It’s the second time this season the Trojans have taken on a team from 6A. They fell on the road to Oxford 49-14. The Trojans also lost to 7A Enterprise 50-22 in their season opener.

The Tigers will not be advancing to postseason play. They enter their final game with a 3-6 overall record and they were 3-5 in region play. The Tigers have won back to back games against Robertsdale and B.C. Rain.

The loss for the Trojans snapped a two-game winning streak. The Trojans come into the game averaging 19 points per game, while allowing 23 points per game.

The Trojans fell to the Tigers last season 28-22 in Troy.
