The Pike Liberal Arts Patriots hit the road to take on Monroe Academy on Friday evening.

The Patriots hung tough with the Eagles last week before 13 unanswered second half points clinched the region win for Fort Dale.
Despite the loss, Allen saw growth from his team and was able to take away plenty of positives despite the outcome.
The Volunteers come into the game coming off a 35-28 win over region foe Macon-East last week. The Volunteers have won each of their last two games by no more than seven points. The defeated Patrician Academy 34-28 the week prior.
The Volunteers have defeated the Patriots every year since moving up to AAA in 2010. They handed the Patriots their only regular season loss last season when they knocked off Pike 28-0.
Following Friday night’s game, the Patriots will have just one more region game remaining, next week against Success Unlimited. They close out the season the following Friday at home against Lakeside.
