“It was a good win for us,” Pike County head coach Fred Holland said. “It kept us undefeated in the region. I am proud of my kids for doing such a good job. We try to get better every week. We saw some things that we liked. Our guys had a good week of practice and I am proud of them and the coaches for doing a good job in the game.”

The Bulldogs had four different players get into the end zone.  Rayshawn Reynolds, and Derrick and Darrick Myhand each picked up two touchdowns, while  Kevon Caffie had one.

“It’s very important to not rely on just one guy,” Holland said. “We have a number of guys that work hard to get the ball into the end zone. The line did a good job at allowing those guys to do what they did. It was a total team effort.”

Reynolds finished the game with 162 yards on 18 carries. Derrick Myhand finished with 108  yards and had two touchdowns, while Darrick Myhand had 118 yards.

The Bulldogs will return home next week to host region foe Slocomb. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
