The Pike Liberal Arts Patriots fell in five games to Lakeside  on Tuesday afternoon in Troy.

The Patriots traded games with Lakeside until ultimately falling 25-23, 24-26, 8-25, 25-20 and 14-16.

The loss for the Patriots drops their record on the season to 3-3.

Avery Henderson finished with nine digs. Aubrey Maulden had seven aces, while Grace Rushing and Morgan Bundy both had six kills.

The Patriots will be back in action on Thursday when they host Northside Methodist beginning with the junior varsity at 4 p.m.
