The Pike Liberal Arts junior varsity volleyball team picked up its first win of the season on Monday afternoon when they knocked off Abbeville Christian in two-straight games, 25-23, 25-21.

The win evens the Lady Patriots record after they lost their season opener last week on the road against Crenshaw Christian.

“The girls worked hard on their defense and moved their feet to get into position,” said JV head coach Mallory Floyd. “Overall, they did a fantastic job tonight of working together and playing their positions.”
