The Troy Ozone Rookies, 8U, 6U and 8U Rookies all won district championships over the weekend, vaulting them to the state tournament.

The Ozone Rookies were the first team from Troy to hoist a trophy. Troy hosted Eufaula in a best-two-out-of-three tournament at the Sportsplex last Thursday night.

Even though both teams were guaranteed a spot in the state tournament, Troy earned a double-header sweep of Eufaula on Thursday night.
