Griff McCrary made winning on the golf course a habit this spring during the regular season. In Monday’s sectional in Mobile, McCrary racked up another win after shooting a 75.

Four teams total made the trip to Mobile, two of which competed in the team competition. UMS-Wright took home the sectional championship after firing off a 312. Charles Henderson finished in second behind the Bulldogs with a team score of 341. Jackson and Citronelle both brought golfers to compete individually.

McCrary finished one stroke ahead of UMS-Wright’s JP Cave, who finished in second place after shooting a 76.

Brax Barron finished with an 86, Braden Prestwood and Cody Paramore both finished with a 90, while Grant Baker shot a 98.

The Trojans will return to Mobile for Sub-State next Tuesday morning.
