The Charles Henderson varsity golf team took home a win in their golf match at the Robert Trent Jones Highlands golf course in Dothan.

The Trojans, as a team, fired off a finishing score of 168 on Tuesday. Northview finished in second after scoring a 173 and Dale County finished in third with a finishing score of 210. Headland finished in fourth with a score of 218.

The Trojans also had individual success on Tuesday. Griff McCrary finished with the lowest individual score after shooting a 35. He was one of two golfers to finish in the 30’s.

It was McCrary’s second consecutive individual win. McCrary was the low scorer at Silver Wings in Fort Rucker last week.

Brax Barron finished with 42, while Grant Baker shot a 45. Braden Prestwood shot a 46 and Cody Paramore finished with a 49.

The Trojans will be back in action on Thursday when they return to Troy Country Club to host another match.
