The Pike Liberal Arts Lady Patriots won both games in the Abbeville Tournament on Friday afternoon.

The Trojans began the day with a 5-0 win over Lakeside. They finished the day with a 9-0 shutout of Pike Liberal Arts.

Danna Dawson got the start in game one. Dawson pitched all four innings and surrendered four hits, while striking out nine batters.

The Patriots finished game with one with seven hits. Grace Rushing went 3-3 with one run scored. Morgan Bundy, Ally Rushing, Sarah Elizabeth Calhoun and Avery Henderson each had one hit.

Ally Rushing pitched a complete game shutout in game two for the Patriots. Rushing pitched all five innings of the contest and allowed just one hit and walk, while striking out six batters.

Grace Rushing continue her strong play when she went 2-3 with two RBI. Bundy, Rushing, Henderson Maddi Johnson and Ashlyn Atwell all had one hit.
