Eagles finish day one of the Squadron Round Robin 2-0

The Goshen Eagles finished day one of the Squadron Round Robin 2-0 after they picked up wins against rival Pike County and McKenzie.

The Eagles began the day with a 12-2 win over the rival Bulldogs. They then knocked off McKenzie 10-6. The Eagles are now 7-1 on the season.

The Eagles finished game one with nine hits led by Danny Cooper, who finished with three singles. Carson Williams finished with two singles, while McGwire Stanley, Caleb Gamble, Logan Boyce and Bryce Williams all finished with one hit.

The Eagles finished game two with 11 hits. Jeff Warrick finished 3-4 with three singles. Stanley picked up a double, a triple and also walked in the win.

The Eagles will return to action on Saturday when they take on Florala beginning at 4 p.m.
