Senkeithia Thompson pitched a complete game and held the Tigers to three hits, while striking out seven batters without allowing a walk.

“She looked great,” Kidd said. “In the first six innings we held them to zero points. They didn’t score until the seventh inning. I think the first three innings were three up and three down. She pitched really well tonight.

The Bulldogs were led at the plate by Ariel Maultry and Raleigh Beaty on Tuesday night. Moultry finished the game 3-4, while Beaty went 1-3 with a home run.

“Offensively, we looked great at the beginning of the game,” Kidd said. “We had aggressive base-running and we put the ball in play.”

The junior varsity bulldogs began the night with an 11-4 loss to the Tigers.

The Bulldogs will be back in action on Thursday when they play host Zion chapel.
