Trojans knock off Carroll

The Charles Henderson varsity Trojans swept the Carroll Eagles on Friday night in Ozark.

The Lady Patriots began the night with a dominating 93-22 win over the Eagles. The varsity boys finished up play with a 51-38 win.

The Lady Patriots improved their area record to a perfect 5-0 with the win.

The Trojans had two players score over 20 points in the win. Maori Davenport and Niaira Jones led all scorers with 25 points each. Tatyana Siler finished with 18 points, while Samira Moore had 14.

The varsity boys made up for Tuesday’s loss to Greenville with their 13-point win. They improve to 4-1 in the area as they continue their pursuit of back-to-back area championships.

The Trojans finished with three players in double figures. Terrell Sistrunk led the way with 17 points, while Keith Wheeler had 14 and Marcus Grant had 10.

The Trojans will be back in action on Tuesday when they host Pike County.
