Brantley gets by Goshen

The Goshen Eagles ended their regular season with a 37-14 loss to Brantley on Friday night in Brantley.

The loss ends the Eagles season with an overall record of 4-6.

Goshen quarterback Bryan Galloway finished the evening completing three of his five passes for 18 yards, while Will Snyder completed his only pass of the game.

Galloway and Caleb Dawson led the Eagles in rushing with 46 yards. Dawson had one touchdown.

Makel Avery hauled in two catches for a total of 18 yards.

On the defensive side of the ball, Khristian Andrews led the Eagles with six tackles.

After Brantley opened the game by returning the opening kickoff, Dawson answered with a return of his own to even the game at 7.

The Bulldogs scored the next 30 points to stretch their lead to 30 at 37-7. The Eagles scored the final touchdown of the night when Dawson took a handoff 23 yards for a touchdown.
