The Troy AAA American’s took home a championship on Tuesday evening when they defeated Andalusia 10-1.

“We have a solid team and everyone played a role in a successful tournament,” said head coach David Nelson. “We pitched well, played defense and had consistent, quality at-bats. It was an all-around solid effort by everyone.”

Dawson Bradford got the start for Troy and pitched all six innings, earning himself the win.

Troy finished with seven hits in the win. Brody Joyce led the way with two hits, while Slade Russell, Luke Barron, Dawson Bradford, Jack Baggett and Tucker Vaughn all had one.
