“I am proud of our guys,” said head coach Taylor Barnes. “We were able to piece together a couple hits and take advantage of our speed on the base paths. We are still looking to improve on defense and cut down on some of the errors.”

Game two lasted just three innings and Tyrese Johnson pitched all three of them to pick up the win. Johnson allowed five runs on three hits.

The Yellow Jackets scored all five of their runs in the first inning on three hits, including a triple.

The Bulldogs responded immediately when they tallied five runs of their own in their opening at-bat. The Bulldogs picked up four walks in the inning and a double by Jordan.

The Bulldogs went up 8-5 in the second inning when they picked up three more walks and a pair of singles by Walker and Chance Brunney.
