Trojans get first win under Whitton

The Charles Henderson Trojans picked up their first win under new head coach Matt Whitton on Thursdaywhen they defeated Highland Home 10-2.
Walker Stallworth got the start for the Trojans. Stallworth pitched all seven innings and allowed just two runs on eight hits.
The Trojans finished with nine hits in the win. Chance Pollard led the way going 2-4 with four RBIs. Lawson Scarbrough also turned in a multi-hit performance by going 2-3 with one RBI. Cayden Bryant had two hits, while Payne Griffin, Keontae Brantley, and Chris Maxwell each had one.
The Trojans will be back in action on Saturday when they travel to take on the Enterprise Wildcats beginning at 4 p.m.
