The Troy Trojans led in the second half but fell to in-state rival UAB 90-78 on a celebratory Tuesday night on a night at Trojan Arena that saw the Trojan football team honored for their conference championship.

On the floor, both teams shot over 50 percent, but a 49-point second half by the Blazers was too much for the Trojans.

The loss for the Trojans drops their record on the season to 5-4.
