The Boys and Girls club paired up with Troy University Civic Engagement and Publix Wednesday July 14 to learn about nutrition and healthy cooking. During this time they made Chicken Avocado Rolls, learned about the MyPlate, which is a guide for healthy eating and went out to the community garden to learn how worms can impact nutrition in soil and vegetables. This is part of the week long Boys and Girls Club Nutrition Camp.
