The Charles Henderson baseball team scored in each of the first three innings in their 15-0 win over area foe Greenville on Tuesday.

The Trojans’ six-run fifth inning was enough to shorten the game to five innings and to give the Trojans the easy win.

Hunter Reeves pitched the first three innings, allowing no runs on four hits and no walks while striking out six batters. Bradley Paramore cleaned up the final two innings while not allowing a hit and striking out one batter.

The Trojans finished with six hits led by Reeves who went 2-2 with one RBI and one run scored. The Trojans also got hits by Jackson Murphy, who picked up an RBI; Bryson Gandy, who had two RBIs; Grant Hughes, who had one hit; and Noah Lowery, who went 1-2 with an RBI.

Murphy’s two-run single started the scoring and Charlie Tisdale followed that up with a sacrifice fly to score Cobie Jones.

The Trojans stretched to 7-0 in the second when Garrett Tucker and Lowery scored on a wild pitch. Jones scored on a triple by Gandy, who later came around to score on a groundout by Graham Wilkes.

Reeves hit an RBI double and Lowery hit an RBI single to bring the score to 9-0 heading into the bottom of the third.

After a scoreless fourth inning, the Trojans put the game out of reach with a sixth-run fifth inning. Grant Hughes smacked a two-run double to score Jabronski Williams and Devan Suddith. Grant Hughes came around to score on a walk and was followed by Reeves and Tucker scoring on a wild pitch. Cobie Jones scored on a groundout by Gandy.

The Trojans will be back in action on Saturday when they travel to take on Saraland for a double header beginning at 12:30 p.m.
