- Messenger Photo/mike hensley The ninth annual Wiregrass 7-on-7 Tournament was held at Troy University on Thursday morning at Veterans Memorial Stadium. The nine teams that participated int the tournament were: Liberty, Andalusia, Daleville, Baldwin County, Dothan, two teams from Central Phenix City and Charles Henderson. After each team played in a four game round-robin to determine seeding, they participated in a single-elimination tournament to decide the tournament champion. After beating Liberty in the opening round of the tournament, Charles Henderson fell to the eventual tournament champions in Central Phenix City’s Red team.
