Trojans compete at state track and field meet

submitted Photo The Charles Henderson track and field team competed in the State Track Meet in Gulf Shores this past weekend. Nick Young (above left) came in second place in the high jump with a mark of 6-2.00. Chante’ Walker finished the 200 meter preliminaries in 16th place, while Rayvion Williams finished the 1600 meter run in 20th place. Maori Davenport fnished in 16th place in the high jump, with Nyasia Williams finished in 22nd place. In the boys division the Trojans had Ra’keem Walker and Soloman Jones finish in 14th and 15th place in the 100 and 200 meter dash. Jones also finished in 10th place in the 400 meter run. Jacabain Jones came in 21st place in the 300 meter hurdles. The Trojans had Cameron Fayson finish in seventh in the discuss throw and Jamal Smith finished 12th in the Javeln throw.
