Nov. 29 – Texas State

After a tough road loss to Ole Miss, the Trojans return home to face Texas State for the sixth time ever, first in Sun Belt play. In a Friday night game, the Trojans look as solid as they have all season.

Corey Robinson gets the Trojans out to 14-0 lead with touchdown passes to Eric Thomas and Chandler Worthy.

After a second quarter field goal from the Bobcats, Troy answers with two more scores. Deon Anthony finds B.J. Chitty, while Khary Franklin runs one in to give Troy a 28-3 halftime lead.

Texas State finds the endzone in the third quarter before Will Scott adds a late field goal. Troy leads 31-10 heading to the fourth.

With bowl eligibility already clinched, the Trojans add some style points with rushing TD from Anthony, 38-10 Trojans.

Troy finishes the regular season 7-5 and awaits its postseason fate.

RESULT: Troy WINS 38-10.

STAT OF THE GAME: Troy is 7-5, that’s all that matters.
