“Over the past 46 years, Mary Holman Johnson’s career as a commercial interior designer has taken her to Atlanta, Memphis, Dallas, Washington DC and now Miami,” White said. “She donated her services as an interior designer during the renovation of the Johnson Center. Her jewelry collection was featured in the Johnson Center’s Holiday Shop last year so many people in the Troy area are familiar with her handmade jewelry.”

The ArtTalk will include a presentation by Johnson followed by an illustration of her latest jewelry line by models.

Johnson is the sister of Jo Harvell of Troy and Dr. Manuel (Manley) Johnson of Upperville, Va. Their parents are the late Holman and Ethel Johnson of Troy.

The Johnson Center for the Arts was named the Holman and Ethel Johnson Center for the Arts by the Manuel and Mary Johnson Foundation in 2008.
