With the theme of “Celebrating Pike County,” the Pike County Chamber of Commerce will be holding its annual banquet Thursday at the Troy Country Club.

The annual luncheon provides Chamber members with a chance to review the events of the past year and bring special recognition to members through award presentations.

“I think the theme is quite clever,” said Bridget Riley, first vice chairman.

“It will give all of us who live and work here an opportunity to see and learn something new about the area.”

Chamber President Kathy Sauer said representatives from the Pike County Commission, Troy City Council, Brundidge City Council and the Pike County Economic Development Commission will speak as part of the program.

Riley, who will be filling in for the chairman John Little as commentator, said she is excited about the banquet.

“I think it’s great that the banquet will be an informative meeting as well was a thank you to all of the chamber members,” Riley said.

Tickets are $25 and are available now until Wednesday at noon. They can be purchased from any board member or by reservation through the chamber by calling 334-566-2294.

“We, the board and chamber members, look forward to a great time where we can come together as a whole to celebrate our accomplishments,” Sauer said.
