Those who drive through downtown Brundidge will probably notice a new sign on the window of the building next to Troy Bank & Trust on South Main Street, Kita B’s Shoe Store.
The shoe store is owned and operated by Markita Mathis and is a welcomed addition to downtown Brundidge, said Jeanette Lampley, president of the Brundidge Business Association.
Kita B’s Shoe Store brings back the time when downtown Brundidge was a popular place to buy shoes, in specialty shops and also in clothing stores.
“Take a step inside Kita B’s Shoe Store and you’ll find shoes that impress,” Lampley said.
“Kita B’s Shoe Store features an array of shoes for men, women and children and in a variety of colors, style and sizes. Purses and jewelry are also available for all occasions.”
The store is located at 131-D Main Street. Hours are from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday.
“Everyone is invited to visit Kita B’s Shoe Store and welcome Markita Mathis to downtown Brundidge, Lampley said.
