Shirley Faye Snell

Shirley Faye Barron Snell, age 54, of Troy, died Saturday, March 10, 2012 at UAB Hospital.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 4 p.m. from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Rev. Danny Arnold officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2012 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy

She is survived by her daughter, Heather Faye Snell of Troy; her mother, Faye Barron of Troy; a brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Cindy Barron of Troy; a sister and brother-in-law, Marianne and Blane Gralheer of Troy; her nephews, Troy Jinright, B.J. Gralheer, Jason Barron and Brax Barron; a niece, Carli Barron; great nephews, Landon Edward Barron and Dur Jinright; and cousins, Charlotte, Anita, Nancy and Sherry.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jabo Barron, and a brother, Eddie Barron.

The staff and students of Pike Liberal Arts School will serve as honorary pallbearers.
