Cora Mell Thomas

Graveside services for Cora Mell Thomas, 93, a life long resident of Troy who died Thursday February 20, 2003 in Montgomery will be at 2 p.m. Saturday February 22, 2003 at Oakwood Cemetery in Troy with Rev. Perry Green officiating.

Burial will be under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home of Troy.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Saturday February 22, 2003 at the funeral home.

Since 1923 Mrs. Thomas was a member of First Baptist Church of Troy, within the church she was a member of the Fidelis-Philateal /Colley Sunday School Class and a member of the WMU and she served as a GA leader.

Survivors include two sisters, Lois Frances Glass of Albany, Georgia and Mamie Wyll Boyd of Millbrook.

The family request memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Troy.
