Ashley Boyd

Services for Apostle Ashley Boyd, 63, who died Sept. 30, 2003 at his home will be at 1 p.m. Monday, October 6 at Lillie White Holiness Church in Troy with Pastor Rodney Boyd officiating.

Burial will be in the White Family Cemetery under the direction of George F. Grubbs Funeral Home of Troy.

Mr. Boyd was born December 26, 1939 in Pike County. He was a prophet and the founder and overseer of Church of Jesus & Deliverance where he was a loyal Apostle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Lee and Mildred Boyd.

Survivors include his wife, Loretta Boyd; two sons and their wives, Rico and Selena Boyd and Rodney and Bonnie Boyd both of Troy; daughter, Latasha Boyd of Troy; foster son and his wife, L. V. and Effie Johnson; four grandchildren, Kashawn DeRon Boyd, Keyona Janae Boyd, Dontae' Key and Lewis V. Johnson; two sisters, Mary Helen Lawrence of Baltimore, Maryland and Joan Griffen of Miami, Florida; brother-in-law, Willie A. Nickson; uncle and his wife, Frank and Catherine Boyd; aunt, Leslie Williams of Banks and several nieces, nephews, friends and sisters and brothers in Christ.
