Bertha Mae English

Services for Bertha Mae English, 85, of Dothan, who died Sunday, February 1, 2004 at Wesley Manor Nursing Home in Dothan will be at 11a.m. Wednesday, February 4, 2004 at Dorcas Baptist Church with Reverend Ray Stinson officiating.

There will be a 30 minute lie-in-state prior to the service at the church.

Burial will be in Chestnut Grove Cemetery under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Tuesday, February 3 at the funeral home.

Mrs. English was preceded in death by her husband, Foster English; parents, Ras and Ada Johnson and a brother, Lorenza Johnson.

Survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Ellen and Don Bullard of Opp and Sue and Pat Whitehead of Newton; seven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Devin Bullard, Dillon Bullard, Marvin Bullard, Donnie Johnson, Eric Thomasino and Jeff Whitehead.

Honorary pallbearers will be John Bullard and Winston English.

Mary Angela Berry Morrison

Mary Angela Berry Morrison, 64, of Lexington, Ky., formerly of Goshen, Alabama, wife of Robert Garrett Morrison, left this world to be with God on Saturday, January 31, 2004. She was Vice-President of Barlow Homes, where she had been employed for twenty-four years, a

member of the Immanuel Baptist Church of Lexington, Ky., the Handbell Church Choir and the Preschool Church Nursery Committee. Angela was born on January 14, 1940 in Troy, Al. She was the daughter of Frances Sanders Berry and the late James Merwyn Berry of Troy, Al. Survivors include spouse, Robert Garrett Morrison; son, Robert Garrett Morrison, Jr. of Lexington; mother, Frances S. Berry, Troy, Al.; sister, Beverly (Bill) McCallister of Hope Hull, Al.; brother, Craig (Karen) Berry of Henderson, Al. and a brother-in-law, Tommy Morrison of Tallassee, Al. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 3 at Immanuel Baptist Church (Lexington, Ky.) conducted by Dr. Craig Loscalzo and Rev. Glen Cummins. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 4 at Dillard Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Graveside services will be at 12 noon, Thursday, February 5 in the Bethlehem Cemetery, Davenport, Al. conducted by Dr. Craig Loscalzo and Rev. Glen Cummins. Pallbearers will be William Davis, James Freeman, Wiley Locklar, Charles Davis, Wayne Helms and Richard McLeod. Henry Ray McLeod

Services for Henry Ray McLeod, 89, formerly of Ten Mile Branch in Goshen who died Sunday, February 1, 2004 at Lighthouse Convalescent Home in Selma will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 04, 2004 at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Reverend Wayne Locklar officiating.

Burial will be in Darion Cemetery in Goshen under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home of Troy.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday February 3 at the funeral home.

Mr. McLeod was a WWII Veteran and received 2 purple hearts during his tour of duty.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ike and Rebeccer McLeod; twin brother, Raford McLeod; brothers, Carlos McLeod and Eddie McLeod, sisters, Mae Belle Norris and Mary Elizabeth Norris.

Survivors include several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Pallbearers will be Leslie Allen, Lex Allen, Billy Howell, Kenneth Howell, Ferrell McLeod, Joe McLeod, Larry McLeod and Brad Senn.
