Earl Newman

Services for Earl Newman, 64, of Troy, who died Friday, April 30, 2004 at Troy Regional Medical Center, were Sunday, May 2 at 4 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Rev. Frank Johnson officiating. Burial followed at Sandfield Cemetery in the Sandfield Community under the direction of Dillard Funeral of Troy.

Visitation was from 5 until 7 p.m. Saturday, May 1 at

Dillard Funeral Home.

Mr. Newman was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Minnie Lee Newman and two brothers Curtis and Ed Newman.

Survivors include two daughters, Beverly (Tony) Duncan of Troy and Earlene Newman of Troy; two sisters Mytrice Thompson (Ira) of Troy and Eloise (Jay) McMaster of Atlanta; brother, Pete Newman of Troy; step-mother Neil Newman of Troy; special friend Ellene Keller of Troy and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Allen McRae, Britt Newman, Cyril Newman, Jerry Newman, Terry Newman and Danny Newman. Honorary Pallbearers were Billy Jinright and employees of Carquest of Troy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association of the American Cancer Society.
