Cecil Lawrence Coppage

Funeral services for Cecil Lawrence Coppage, 62, of Montgomery, who died Tuesday, April 17, 2007, at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with the Rev. Larry Davis officiating.

Burial will follow at Green Hills Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Coppage is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, David and Beth Coppage of Troy; three grandchildren, Rebecca Brown of Troy and Hunter and Kelton Coppage of Troy; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Gerald and Avis Coppage of Lawley, William E. and Hermie Coppage of Dothan, John and Kathy Keene of Troy and Kenny Keene of Dothan; a sister, Alice Edmonson of Tennessee; a cousin, Roy Pugh of Troy; and many other relatives.

Robert Cecil Borom

Funeral services for Robert Cecil Borom, 90, of Troy, who died on Monday, April 16, 2007, at Luverne Health and Rehab, will be at 2 p.m. today at Glenwood Methodist Church with the Rev. Bobby Weeks officiating.

Burial will follow in Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. today at the church.

He was a World War II veteran, who retired as a major in the United States Air Force in Roswell, N.M., where he lived with his wife and family for 55 years.

Mr. Borom was active in his church, the Gideons and the Rotary Club. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, plus &#8220spoiling” his beloved wife. He is remembered for his gentle patientness and quiet nature.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Easter Lily Curtis Borom of Troy; two daughters, Lisle K. Borom of Los Lunas, N.M., and Linda and Chuck Agar of Troy; three grandchildren, Karl (Danita) Agar of Santa Rosa N.M., Alan and Crystal Agar of Lexington, N.C., and Lorelie and Greg Lein; six great-grandchildren, Gary and Shawn Agar, Kelsey, Michael and Bailey Agar and Brennan Lein; a sister, Helen and Clayton Floyd of Troy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
