A Troy man was shot and killed Tuesday night during an altercation in Coffee County, according to the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials say Dwayne Milton Golden, of Troy, was killed at the home of Joe Glen Lee in the Lee community.

Officials said Golden and Lee were involved in an altercation when Golden was shot. He died on the scene.

The sheriff’s office said the incident is still under investigation and that no arrests have been made at this time. No further details have yet been released.

The Coffee County district attorney’s office and Elba Police Department are also investigating.
