Police responded to a reckless driver call on County Road 2225 Saturday to find a vehicle traveling on the wrong side of the road.

Officers stopped the vehicle and arrested the driver, Carol Bundy Sanders, 56, of Goshen on multiple charges including driving under the influence of a controlled substance.

“Sanders had three bags concealed on her person that contained a crystal-like substance that field-tested positive for the presence of methamphetamine,” said Troy Police Chief Randall Barr. “Officers found drug paraphernalia and prescription drugs identified as a controlled substance inside her wallet.”

Sanders was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia in the incident.

Sanders was booked into the Pike County Jail on $5,000 bond.
